At The Clark Art Institute, Humane Ecology: Eight Positions presented works by Eddie Rodolfo Aparicio, Korakrit Arunanondchai, Carolina Caycedo, Allison Janae Hamilton, Juan Antonio Olivares, Christine Howard Sandoval, Pallavi Sen, and Kandis Williams. Each artist approached ecology not only as environment but as a site of intimacy and resistance—where bodies, histories, and landscapes converge. From living installations and soot drawings to sound environments and woven ecosystems, the exhibition asked what it means to care for a planet and one another amid collapse and regeneration.
