Ministry gathers decades of work by Reverend Joyce McDonald — a quietly powerful archive of survival, spirituality, and self-love. Beginning in the late 1990s, clay became her language: fragile bodies in repose, hands clasped in prayer, figures resting from life’s storms. As an artist and ordained minister, McDonald uses sculpture as testimony, offering her story of addiction, illness, loss, and redemption not just for herself but as a gift to others. This exhibition invites you into that circle of care — a space where grief becomes grace, vulnerability becomes strength, and every handmade figure echoes resilience, community, and love.
