Spanning a transformative decade of Loie Hollowell’s practice, Space Between at The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum brings together paintings and sculptural works that trace the artist’s evolving language of abstraction, embodiment, and light. Hollowell’s radiant forms—at once celestial and corporeal—distill moments of intimacy, spirituality, and selfhood into compositions that seem to pulse with their own inner life. Through color, symmetry, and texture, the exhibition invites viewers to reflect on the space between the physical and the emotional, the personal and the universal.
